By using their skills, students develop their visual skills so that they can evolve step by step and stimulate their creativity.
Classes on Saturday mornings and afternoons (depending on the group):
- 3-6 years: 11:00 to 12:00 €45/month, reduced rate for 2nd child: €35/month
- 7-12 years: 14:00 to 15:30: €60/month, reduced rate for 2nd child: €40/month
- Others: on request according to age group Half-day (9am-12pm) or full-day (9:00 - 17:00)
Courses and holiday courses available on request.
All equipment provided; no membership fee required.
Chloé de Vence, qualified Art and Graphic Industry teacher in Paris and state-recognised historic heritage school.
25 years' experience in art direction and design in France and abroad.
The studio offers art classes for children aged 3 to 12, as well as more intensive art school entrance exam courses for older children. We also offer group and individual courses for adults at home.
Initiation includes (depending on age) :
- Drawing: learning the academic basics of observation, construction, treaties and shading
- Painting: discovering the different techniques with watercolour, gouache, acrylic, oil and their possible combinations
- Discovering materials: red chalk, charcoal, oil pastels, dry pastels, felt pens, grease pencils, inks, etc.
- Raising awareness of art history through exercises
- Analysis of a work (for older children)
- Modelling
- Decorative painting
- Packaging, typography, logo
- Initiation to principles of perspective
- Fresco, mural and trompe l'oeil painting techniques
- Working with objects, creation, transformation
- Principles of page layout, paper collage and materials
- Painting on fabric and porcelain
- Creating objects in volume
- Basics of styling and decoration
- Making fabric objects (sewing or collage)
- Photography: basic techniques and framing useful for artistic work
- Basic image processing on the computer
- Interior design and home staging (for older students)
Classes are held in Frigiliana. If the weather is good, classes can also be held in the garden.
